GRP3: Group 3

The GRP3 module contains two FM synths that can be sequenced with SEQ3. The two synths have their own notes and sounds but share everything in the table below: the switch, CV, BUS, the filters, the crusher, the sends, PAN, and LEV. Right-click a synth to make it follow another trigger. See also Trigger Source.

Parameter	Description
B (Activator Switch)	Turns the module on or off. The B key does the same by default.
PRESET	Stores and recalls the settings of both synths. See also Preset Selector.
CV	Chance that the trigger reaches the FX, the sends, the mixer, and the trigger outputs. See also Trigger Events (CV).
BUS	Where the sound goes, in any combination. SEND enables the DL1, DL2, and RVB dials. See also Audio Bus.
MUTE GRP	When on, each synth cuts the other off when it plays. See also Mute.
HPF	Randomizable Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the high-pass filter.
LPF	Randomizable Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter.
RES	Randomizable Adjusts the resonance amount of the high-pass and low-pass filter.
BIT	Randomizable Adjusts the bit depth. Lower values produce a lo-fi sound.
SMP	Randomizable Adjusts the sample rate.
OVT	Randomizable Adjusts the wave folder, which adds overtones.
DL1	Randomizable Adjusts the send level to DL1.
DL2	Randomizable Adjusts the send level to DL2.
RVB	Randomizable Adjusts the send level to RVB.
PAN	Randomizable Adjusts the panning.
LEV	Randomizable Adjusts the output level.

3-1 : FM Synth

Parameter	Description
PAD	The small button in the top-right corner. Click it to play the synth once.
LEN	Sets the length of the note in sixteenth notes, from 1/8 to 64, so it follows the tempo.
PCH	Sets the base note as a MIDI note number, from 0 to 127.
VOICE	Sets how many hits can sound at once, from 1 to 8. A new hit beyond that cuts off the oldest.
ALGORITHM	Selects the algorithm type, and which operator the controls below edit. See also FM Algorithm.
ENVELOPE	Sets the volume and pitch envelopes of the active operator. See also Envelope.
WAVEFORM	Selects the waveform of the active operator: sine, saw, square, random, or noise.
RTO	Tunes the active operator relative to PCH, from -36 to +36 semitones in half-semitone steps.
FRQ	Adjusts the rate of the active operator’s tremolo, synced to the tempo.
AMT	Adjusts how far the tremolo lowers the active operator’s volume. A negative value inverts it.
SYNC	When on, the operator this one modulates restarts its cycle with this one (hard sync). Operators 1 and 2 only.
VEL	How much the step’s volume affects the active operator; at 0% it is ignored.
MOD	Adjusts the amount of frequency modulation for the active operator. MOD and LEV share one place, and the algorithm decides which of the two the active operator shows.
LEV	Adjusts the output level of the active operator.

Operators 1 and 2 add SYNC, and show MOD in place of LEV when the algorithm uses them as modulators:
