Modules Guide - GRP3

The GRP3 module contains two FM synths that can be sequenced with SEQ3. Each synth can follow a trigger other than its own – another instrument, or the clock – chosen from its right-click menu. See also Trigger Source.

Parameter	Description
B (Activator Switch)	Turns the module on or off, also operated by pressing the B key.
CV	Sets the probability that the instrument’s trigger is sent onward at all: to the FX buses, the sends, the mixer strips, and the trigger outputs. See also Trigger Events (CV).
BUS	Selects the output destination for the module. See also Audio Bus.
MUTE GRP	Turns the mute on or off. See also Mute.
HPF	Randomizable Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the high-pass filter.
LPF	Randomizable Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter.
RES	Randomizable Adjusts the resonance amount of the high-pass and low-pass filter.
BIT	Randomizable Adjusts the bit depth. Lower values produce a lo-fi sound.
SMP	Randomizable Adjusts the sample rate.
OVT	Randomizable Adjusts the amount of overtone.
DL1	Randomizable Adjusts the send level to DL1, which is not sent if the send bus is disabled.
DL2	Randomizable Adjusts the send level to DL2, which is not sent if the send bus is disabled.
RVB	Randomizable Adjusts the send level to RVB, which is not sent if the send bus is disabled.
PAN	Randomizable Adjusts the panning.
LEV	Randomizable Adjusts the output level.

Parameter	Description
LEN	Adjusts the length of the FM synth.
PCH	Adjusts the pitch of the sound in semitone steps.
VOICE	Sets the maximum number of voices that can play at once.
ALGORITHM	Selects the algorithm type. See also FM Algorithm.
ENVELOPE	Sets the volume and pitch envelopes. See also Envelope.
WAVEFORM	Selects the waveform of the active operator.
RTO	Adjusts the frequency ratio of the active operator.
FRQ	Adjusts the ring modulation frequency of the active operator.
AMT	Adjusts the amount of ring modulation for the active operator.
SYNC	Sets the sync modulation of the active operator.
VEL	Adjusts the percentage of velocity applied to the active operator; setting to 0% ignores the velocity value of the sequence.
MOD	Adjusts the amount of frequency modulation for the active operator.
LEV	Adjusts the output level of the active operator.
