GRP1: Group 1

The GRP1 module contains three samplers that can be sequenced with SEQ1. 1-1 also has a kick synth built in. 1-2 and 1-3 share the X key, so it turns both on or off together. Right-click an instrument to make it follow another trigger. See also Trigger Source.

Parameter	Description
PRESET	Stores and recalls the settings of all three instruments. See also Preset Selector.
MUTE GRP	When on, an instrument that plays cuts off the others in this group that share a BUS1-BUS3 or FX1-FX3 output. See also Mute.

1-1 : Sampler with Kick Synth

Parameter	Description
Z (Activator Switch)	Turns this instrument on or off. The Z key does the same by default.
FILE MENU	Selects the sound file. See also Sound File Menu.
CV	Chance that the trigger reaches the FX, the sends, the mixer, and the trigger outputs. See also Trigger Events (CV).
BUS	Where the sound goes, in any combination. SEND enables the DL1, DL2, and RVB dials. See also Audio Bus.
PAD	The small button at the end of the BUS row. Click it to play the instrument once.
ENVELOPE	Sets the volume and pitch envelopes. See also Envelope.
PCH	Tunes the sound smoothly, up to 3 octaves up or down (1.00 = original pitch).
TRP	Transposes the sound in semitones, from -36 to +36. Adds to PCH and to the TRP module.
REV	Sets the chance that a hit plays in reverse.
VOICE	Sets how many hits can sound at once, from 1 to 8. A new hit beyond that cuts off the oldest. The kick synth has the same limit.
LFO MENU	Shows the LFO’s shape and targets. Click to open the LFO panel. Targets: PCH, DRV, RM, FRQ, HPF, LPF, RES, BIT, SMP, OVT, DL1, DL2, RVB, PAN, LEV, KICK LEN, KICK FRQ, KICK CLK, KICK TONE, KICK. See also LFO.
DRV	Randomizable Adjusts the amount of overdrive.
RM	Randomizable Adjusts the amount of ring modulation.
FRQ	Randomizable Adjusts the frequency of ring modulation.
HPF	Randomizable Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the high-pass filter.
LPF	Randomizable Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter.
RES	Randomizable Adjusts the resonance amount of the high-pass and low-pass filter.
LFO	Randomizable Adjusts the frequency of the LFO.
AMT	Randomizable Adjusts the amount of LFO modulation.
BIT	Randomizable Adjusts the bit depth. Lower values produce a lo-fi sound.
SMP	Randomizable Adjusts the sample rate.
OVT	Randomizable Adjusts the wave folder, which adds overtones.
DL1	Randomizable Adjusts the send level to DL1.
DL2	Randomizable Adjusts the send level to DL2.
RVB	Randomizable Adjusts the send level to RVB.
PAN	Randomizable Adjusts the panning.
LEV	Randomizable Adjusts the output level.
KICK ENVELOPE	Sets the volume and pitch envelopes of the kick synth. See also Envelope.
LEN (KICK LEN)	Sets the length of the kick in sixteenth notes, from 1/8 to 32, so it follows the tempo.
FRQ (KICK FRQ)	Sets the pitch of the kick synth, from 20 Hz to 3 kHz. TRP and the TRP module transpose it along with the sample.
CLK (KICK CLK)	Randomizable Adjusts the noise level of the kick synth.
TONE (KICK TONE)	Randomizable Adjusts the kick tone.
KCK (KICK)	Randomizable Adjusts the output level of the kick synth.
KICK TRIG	Chooses when the kick synth plays: NONE never, ALL on every hit, or ACCENT only on accented hits.
KICK OUT	Chooses where the kick joins the sound. PRE mixes it in before RM, the filters, and the crusher, and only here does DRV reach the kick. POST adds it after PAN and LEV, so only KCK sets its level. BUS1 sends it straight to BUS1, skipping this instrument’s BUS choice and sends.
