Modules Guide - MST
MST1 and MST2 are mastering modules with EQ, performance effects, and dynamics processing. You can also store named presets.
MST1 : Master1
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| EQUALIZER | Adjusts the volume of different frequency bands. See also Equalizer. |
| RESET | Resets the values of BIT, SMP, HPF, LPF, and RES at the beginning of the next bar. |
| BIT | Adjusts the bit depth. Lower values produce a lo-fi sound. |
| SMP | Adjusts the sample rate. |
| HPF | Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the high-pass filter. |
| LPF | Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter. |
| RES | Adjusts the resonance amount of the high-pass and low-pass filter. |
| GRN1, GRN2, RPT and SPIN | Turns four performance effects on or off. GRN1 and GRN2 control the granulator, RPT controls the repeater, and SPIN controls the turntable spin effect. The order of the effects depends on the order in which the buttons are pressed, with the later activated effects always being post-effects. |
| EFFECT CONTROL KNOBS | Controls performance effects. The last enabled performance effect control is displayed. |
| CMP (Activator Switch) | Turns the compressor on or off. |
| BAND SELECTOR | Switches the number of compressor bands among 1, 2, and 3. |
| PRE | Adjusts the pre-gain of the compressor. |
| THR | Adjusts the threshold of the compressor. |
| RTO | Adjusts the ratio of the compressor. |
| ATK | Adjusts the attack time of the compressor. |
| REL | Adjusts the release time of the compressor. |
| MIX | Adjusts the mix of bands; enabled for two or more bands. |
| MXM (Activator Switch) | Turns the maximizer on or off. |
| MAXIMIZER GAIN | Adjusts the gain of the maximizer. |
| REL | Adjusts the release time of the maximizer. |
| M/S | Turns the maximizer M/S process on and off. |
MST2 : Master2

| CMP (Activator Switch) | Turns the compressor on or off. |
| CHAIN | Turns sidechain processing on or off. When enabled, the MST1 signal ducks the MST2 signal. |
| PRE | Adjusts the pre-gain of the compressor. |
| THR | Adjusts the threshold of the compressor. |
| RTO | Adjusts the ratio of the compressor. |
| ATK | Adjusts the attack time of the compressor. |
| REL | Adjusts the release time of the compressor. |
| KNEE | Adjusts the knee of the compressor. |
| MXM (Activator Switch) | Turns the maximizer on or off. |
| MAXIMIZER GAIN | Adjusts the gain of the maximizer. |

| M/S | Turns the maximizer M/S process on and off. |
